Code of Conduct

General Provision

Project Imperial Arx aims to provide a comfortable, safe, and fair environment for Player interactions within the game world. We encourage fair competition, cooperation, and respectful communication. Any forms of misconduct, violations of the established rules, or attempts at undermining other Players’ experience will not be tolerated. By using the Game, the Player obliges to comply with the Code of Conduct outlined below, as well as the Company’s decisions aimed at enforcing this Code.

This Code of Conduct is an integral part of the End User License Agreement (EULA) and the Company’s Privacy Policy, and is exclusively applicable within their context. In case of any inconsistencies between this Code and the EULA, the EULA takes precedence.

If you notice a player breaking the rules outlined below, report them at support@warvargames.com.

Communication and Conduct

While taking part in any form of communication (game chats, direct messages, forums, voice chat or other channels), the Player takes full responsibility for their own behavior and the content of their own messages.

You may not use expressions, statements, or actions that can be seen as:

  • insulting, derogatory, or disparaging towards other Players;
  • profane, vulgar, explicit, or sexual in nature;
  • threats, abuse, harassment, blackmail, or manipulation;
  • intended as peer pressure, rage-baiting, or provocation;

No forms of discrimination or hate speech will be tolerated, including but not limited to statements based on:

  • race or ethnicity;
  • nationality;
  • religion or beliefs;
  • sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation;
  • physical or psychological traits.

Other forms of forbidden behavior include:

  • bullying, systematic humiliation, and purposeful conflict instigation
  • uploading and/or sharing content (images, text, modifications) that violates third-party rights, contains illegal imagery or negatively impacts the community;
  • behavior aimed at disrupting the game process, not limited to:
    • intentionally leaving a match, a fight, an event, or another game activity initiated with the involvement of other Players, barring a justifiable reason;
    • purposefully losing or sabotaging a game;
    • purposefully stalling during game sessions, fights, or events, in order to prevent them from ending in a regular manner;
    • using game mechanics or UI features for blocking, slowing down, or disrupting other Players’ actions;
    • systematically leaving matches or activities in a way that influences other players’ balance, results, or game experience;
    • refusal to actively engage with an already started game, including
      • intentional inactivity (AFK);
      • systematic ignoring of game goals and mechanics;
      • feigning participation without actually performing the actions.

Violating these rules may lead to communication restrictions, as well as a temporary or permanent suspension of your Account.

Employee Protection and Veracity of Information

  • Any insults, threats, harassment, or actions aimed at misleading Company employees, partners, or other Players, shall be deemed aggravating circumstances.
  • Players are prohibited from spreading false information regarding the Company, the game service, its partners, or other Players, including hearsay, libel, or attempts at impersonating a Company representative.

Names and Player Identification

A Player must use a valid and appropriate in-game name. Your name must not:

  • contain insulting, profane, derogatory, or hateful subtext;
  • be inflammatory or promote discrimination and violence;
  • have an erotic or pornographic nature;
  • be defamatory or insulting towards other players;
  • mimic names of Company employees;
  • infringe on copyrights or violate trademarks;
  • contain direct or indirect references to terrorist organizations or their activities;
  • relate to medical conditions, medications, drugs, or alcohol;
  • contain religious or historic subtext used in an insulting, provocative, or inflammatory context.

Any name that violates these criteria or disrupts the community may be changed by the Company without notice. The Player’s account may face additional penalties.

When using automatic integration with external platforms (including but not limited to Steam), the Player’s display name may correspond to their display name on the respective platform.

Regardless of the origin of their name, the Player bears full responsibility for its conformity with this Code. In case the name received from an external platform violates this Code of Conduct, the Company reserves the right to:

  • restrict display of the name;
  • change the name to a neutral or a placeholder name;
  • demand a change of the name;
  • penalize the Account.

The final verdict on whether or not the name is appropriate is delivered by the Company, based on the Players’ reports and an internal review.

Fair Play and Ban on Cheating

The Game presumes equal opportunities for all Players. Never resort to cheating, phishing, hacking, spam, or using unsupported functionality in order to gain advantage over other players. Any attempts at gaining unfair advantage are forbidden.

Violations include:

  • using third-party programs, bots, scripts, or automatization;
  • using cheats, hacks, and modified clients;
  • exploiting errors, vulnerabilities, or malfunctions of the Game*;
  • exploiting other Players’ vulnerabilities;
  • phishing, scamming, extortion;
  • buying, selling, or farming in-game currency outside of intended mechanics;
  • letting third parties access your Account;
  • manipulating the results of game sessions or other in-game activities.

*Exploiting errors, vulnerabilities or malfunctions of the Gameis defined as any intentional actions on the Player’s part directed at gaining advantage, resources, progress, or other goals not supported by regular gameplay logic, including but not limited to:

1. Technical and Game Vulnerabilities

  • repeated exploits of game bugs in mechanics, interface, or Game logic (including erroneous rewards, experience, currency, items, or ranking);
  • deliberate simulation of server, client, or connection malfunctions for the purpose of gaining advantage;
  • abusing async between the server and the client;
  • keeping or transferring effects, items, or statuses not intended for further use;
  • circumventing limitations on time, number of attempts, reward limits, or access.

2. Economical and Progress Vulnerabilities

  • artificial creation or duplication of in-game currency, items, resources;
  • acquiring rewards for quests, events, or activities repeatedly, circumventing the established limitations;
  • manipulating the in-game economy by exploiting errors or malfunctions.

3. Social and Competitive Vulnerabilities

  • acquiring ranking or competitive advantage due to errors in matchmaking, scoring system, or rewards;
  • deliberate exploit of bugs affecting the outcome of matches, fights, or events.

4. Awareness and Intent

In addition to actively exploiting a vulnerability, exploiting also refers to:

  • deliberate concealment of an encountered vulnerability combined with its systematic use;
  • spreading information about vulnerabilities with the intent of exploiting them;
  • coordination with other Players for mass exploitation of Game errors.

Intent may be determined by the Company based on:

  • logs and technical data;
  • recurring nature of the behavior;
  • scale of the profit gained;
  • the Player’s behavior before and after a vulnerability detection.

The Player bears responsibility for their account’s presentation in the game world. Any of the actions listed above may result in immediate penalty, up to permanent Account suspension with no indemnity.

Responsibility and Account Security

The player is personally responsible for protecting their Account details and must not:

  • disclose logins, passwords or other authentication data to third parties;
  • disclose personal information that could reveal their personality or allow access to their Account.

The Company provides support if an Account is suspected to have been compromised. During the investigation, the Account may be temporarily inaccessible. The Company doesn’t guarantee that the damage caused by unauthorized access will be reimbursed. Final response is determined upon investigation in the manner and scope determined by the End User License Agreement (EULA) and applicable laws.

Theft, interception, or unlawful use of an Account constitutes a major violation and may lead to litigation.

Customer Support

Customer Support addresses Player reports related to:

  • Code of Conduct violations;
  • technical issues;
  • questions regarding the Account.

Response time depends on the current workload of Customer Support. The Company obliges to keep its involvement in the game process to a minimum and only does so in the case of justified necessity.

All Players are equal before the Code of Conduct. All reports are examined without prejudice, and the Players are given the benefit of the doubt.

Correspondence between the Player and Customer Support is confidential and isn’t subject to disclosure, except when required by law.

Disciplinary Action

Depending on the nature, severity, and recurring nature of a violation, the Company may take the following actions:

  • absence of penalty;
  • warning;
  • restricting communication;
  • confiscating in-game valuables;
  • rollback of in-game progress;
  • temporary Account suspension (3 days or more);
  • permanent Account suspension;
  • deleting the Account.

Applied actions are recorded in the Account history. The player shall be informed about penalties via e-mail.

The Company has the right to determine the nature and duration of penalty, while acting reasonably, in good faith, and in proportion to the violation, within the limits allowed by this Code, while also considering the kind of violation, its consequences, its recurring nature, other Players’ reports, and the Account’s history. The Company also reserves the right to confiscate any in-game valuables directly or indirectly received by the Player as a result of violating this Code, including in-game currency, items, and achievements.

1. Cheating / modification / hacking.

Using a modified version of the Game client or third-party software which:

  • disrupts the gaming experience for other Players;
  • provides unfair advantage against other players.

Violations include, but are not limited to:

  • utilizing programs that provide automatic aiming (aimhack), target autotracking, recoil compensation, automatic firing, or other means of influencing the accuracy, speed, or success rate of the Player’s actions;
  • utilizing programs for automatic input (including AutoHotkey, Autolt, macros, scripts, and similar tools) if they are used for:
    • performing in-game actions without the Player’s direct involvement;
    • automatic targeting, shooting, or ability or item use;
    • gaining in-game advantage unattainable by regular gameplay means.

The Company acknowledges that Players may use official software provided by periferals manufacturers (including but not limited to Logitech G HUB, Razer Synapse, SteelSeries GG, and similar software).

Use of this software does not constitute a violation by itself.

Maximum penalty: permanent account suspension.

2. Inflammatory speech or behavior / threats.

Insulting, harassing, or attacking other Players in verbal or written communication both within and outside the Game, including:

  • public forums;
  • the official website;
  • direct messages;
  • other communication channels.

Insults include any actions, statements, or messages by the Player directed at other Players or Company employees, as well as those that create a toxic atmosphere in the gaming community.

These include direct attacks, profanity, threats, harassment, and also public statements, imagery, and symbols that discriminate, denigrate, or elicit negative emotions from other Players.

First violation:warning.

Multiple violations: temporary or permanent account suspension.

3. Using vulnerabilities.

Using and/or creating bugs, malfunctions, or vulnerabilities in the Game, as well as circumventing the established game rules, in a way that:

  • gives the Player a significant advantage;
  • allows them to skip in-game actions that are mandatory in a regular playthrough.

First violation:warning.

Second violation: temporary Account suspension (the duration is determined by the Company representative on an individual basis)

Multiple violations: permanent Account suspension.

4. Advertising and spam

Interfering with players’ communication for personal or commercial goals by repeatedly publishing similar or intrusive messages.

First violation:warning.

Multiple violations:temporary or permanent account suspension.

5. Phishing and scamming

Any attempts at deceiving other players with the intent of gaining personal, in-game, or financial profit, including:

  • attempts at acquiring personal data;
  • payment processor data (credit cards, etc.)

This list is not exhaustive.

Maximum penalty: permanent Account suspension.

Appealing Account penalties

The Player may appeal a penalty with Customer Support by submitting a form on our website, or by communicating in the online support chat or via e-mail @, providing all necessary details.

The Company will review the appeal within a reasonable timeline and will provide a response with its decision and reasoning. The reviewing time may vary depending on the difficulty of the case. Reviewing an appeal does not guarantee that the penalty will be lifted, and is subject to the Company’s internal procedures.

Closing Statements

The Company reserves the right to change this Code. The up-to-date version shall always be published in the official sources.

Ignorance of the Code does not absolve the Player from responsibility.
